I just set up outlook express today with my AOL address. I was told that the
incoming server was imap.aol.com and outgoing stmp.aol.com. Everything set
up fine and I can send emails but I cannot receive them. Why? I was told it
was an Outlook Express problem.

azembalmer,
Look at your folder tree in Outlook Express, there should have been several
folders created at the bottom of the list, Inbox, Sent Items, etc...

These are a "mirrored" set (IMAP) of your AOL Mail folders, found on the
internet website. You new AOL mail messages will be sent to these folders,
not the default OE folders. Also your OE messages rules will not affect them
as they download. If you have user created sub folders for certain senders,
and want to have your AOL messages stored with your OE messages that you
already have, then you will need to "Copy To" those messages from your AOL
folders to your user created folders.
