Using OE6 latest version and XP SP3. I currently have about 50 folders with files adding up to about 155MB. I'm about to buy a new computer that will be loaded with XP. I have a problematic new laptop and recently re-formatted the laptop back to factory settings. I have since been trying to get OE to work correctly (it did prior to "resetting" the laptop). Lost emails during "compacting"
I am using OE 6.00.290.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158). Recently, having been prompted to "compact" I did so and at the end of the process I lost a period of four months emails (from Feb to June).
