Outlook Express

outlook express 6, e-mail receipt time is not same as system time

Can I use Outlook Express for Outgoing ONLY?
This may seem crazy but I use Yahoo for my everyday email application. I also have Peachtree Accounting which has the capability within Peachtree to open Outlook or Outlook Express and send reports to my accounting clients at a press of a button.
