Prev: Outlook displays red X intermittently, due to "outbind" image tag
Next: outlook2007 can't receive hotmail since last weekend
From: MarkT on 8 Jul 2008 15:08 Hi Everyone, I am using Outlook 2007, on a machine running XP Pro. I recently have just started getting a message that pops up on a regular basis. "Contacting Server for Further Information". This message box has a progess bar and stays up for a few seconds (2 to 10 seconds). We don't use our server for emails, we use Outlook and POP3. So I don't believe our server has anything to do with this error message. Does anyone know why I am receiving this message from Outlook, and more important how I can get rid of it? This just started to happen yesterday, nothing has changed on my system with the exception of downloading SP3 from M/S last week Wednesday. Thanks for your anticipated help as always! Mark |
