From: Censored Syndrome on 4 Jul 2008 09:25 I am using Outlook 2007 and XP. When I click a link in an Outlook email, and IE7 opens, it comes up in Classic theme, instead of the XP theme that I use (Royale Noir). Other child windows from Outlook (Send/Receive Status, Rules and Alerts, Field Chooser, etc) all come up in Classic theme as well. It has been doing this ever since I remember, but it is not a big problem, so I only mentioned it now. Does anybody know why Outlook would be opening child windows without the XP theme? Cheers ss.

I disabled themes on the OUTLOOK.EXE file (Compatibility tab), and as that did not stop the main window from appearing in Outlook's own built-in skin, I forgot that I had done so. ss.
