From: mike6 on 20 Apr 2008 06:20 hello there im trying to figure out how to setup my p5e3 to use my external Esata drive enclosure. . i plug it in to the port on back of motherboard but nothing shows up inon my system , ??? disk is active and formatted , works with a usb drive interface so drive is good . What am i missing ???

From: mike6 on 20 Apr 2008 13:48 hello there yes its enabled , i changed it to ahci or something like that and the drive was recognized , BUT i tried to move some files 134 megs took 18 minutes . something is not right , should be really fast faster than usb i think. hello there and thank you i thought i had all the latest drivers ? but i did a update anyway and now things are fine , works great , speeds are fine thank you for the help , much appreciated.
