From: Thomas Bächler on 1 Apr 2008 05:55 I own a brand-new P5LD2-X/1333. I installed the Realtek HDA drivers from the CD (I checked, I had the latest version on the CD, no newer ones online). I am using Windows XP SP2. Problem is: My front audio connectors don't work. When I plug something in on the back, the audio manager (forgot the exact name of the application) shows that there is something plugged in. When I plug it in on the front connector, no connection is shown and the speakers/headphones are mute, as is the microphone. Is there a way to force-enable the inputs? Note that with Linux (snd-hda-intel driver from alsa 1.0.16), the front connectors work just fine.
