From: R. J. Salvi on 30 Dec 2005 10:22 I'm wondering if anyone knows whether the ASUS-branded P5LP-LE board found in HP machines supports RAID functionality. Thx. -- Robert J. Salvi, Ambiance Acoustics http://www.ambianceacoustics.com San Diego, CA USA (858) 485-7514

You should be able to see this by looking at the southbridge-chip. In the modelname written on the chip, the version with RAID has an R at the end. Thx. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?cc=us&docname=c00379422&lc=en The diagram shows ICH7 was used and not ICH7R. The latter chip is the RAID enabled one, but it is not on that board. Paul
