PAR2 files aren't archives. They are files that contain the data required to reconstruct damaged files. A full description is available from here: <URL:http://www.par2.net/> and versions compiled for SuSE 9.0 - 10.0[0][1] are available from here: <URL:http://www.davjam.org/~davjam/linux/par2/index.htm> [0] There's a 10.1 version available as well, but that's only of use if you're testing 10.1 alpha 3 [1] 10.0 has both 32bit and 64bit versions available.
