Could someone explain PAR2 for me. Which Suse program can uncondense, or
whwhatever the correct term is.

PAR2 files aren't archives. They are files that contain the data
required to reconstruct damaged files. A full description is available
from here:

and versions compiled for SuSE 9.0 - 10.0[0][1] are available from here:

[0] There's a 10.1 version available as well, but that's only of use if
you're testing 10.1 alpha 3

[1] 10.0 has both 32bit and 64bit versions available.
