From: Pierre on 6 Feb 2005 16:01 I am trying to repair a PCG-9L1L Sony Vaio laptop that won't even boot up at all (no signal on tft screen or external monitor-the hdd doesn't spin). After replacing the power board, the power led is green, but still the laptop won't boot up. Now, to my question, there is a cable connecting the power board with the motherboard, should I try replacing that also? Could that cable be faulty? Any help will be much appreciated. Where I live there's no authorised sony service center for vaio laptops (they only repair tvs and stuff).
