From: Zadig Galbaras on 24 Apr 2008 17:18 hi... I have this laptop with a PCMCIA slot, and frankly I haven't used one of those since the early days of wireless networking. Looked at some flash memory and hard disks, but they all were very large in physical size and small in storage size. Is there any hardware out there that can restore the slot to former glory? -- Regards Zadig Galbaras (nick) www.tresfjording.com -----

That idea is like thinking we are all compelled to fill every PCIe, PCI, USB, etc, port on any computer. Leave the slot empty till you have a need to add specific functionality, THEN see if that is supported on PCMCIA.
