Is there a way to filter outbound http traffic based on domain name or url?

Thanks in advance

Not on the 501 (which does not run PIX 7), not without the third
party products N2H2 or Websense. (I have never heard of a freeware
equivilent of N2H2 or Websense, but I never spent time looking for one.)

A common way to deal with the situation is to use a squid proxy filter
on the inside and block all outgoing http and https access except
from the proxy filter.
