If the buyer wants to upgrade to finess 7.x does he need to enter a new Activation key?
The PIX doesn't have any 3DES-AES VPN accelerator card. Which is the spare number?

That's obsolete and no longer available.

To get the encryption key, you fill out the form on one of cisco's
web pages, and they email it to you for free -- provided you are
eligible for it at all.

I've lost track of the eligibility requirements. Alex is in Italy,
which appears to be one of the countries whose nationals are
permitted under ITAR to receive encryption licenses -- but
it does not appear to me [in a few minutes search] that the same is true
for all European countries, so Alex would have potential issues in
exporting a PIX with the AES license key. Legally safer to not install
the key and let the new owner get the key if they wanted (after,
that is, Relicensing the device....)
