From: Club Manager on 7 May 2008 05:47 Why can't I open a Powerpoint Presentation when I can see a Preview? Are there any file open blocks that I can unset? -- User
From: vindys on 7 May 2008 07:14 Is the file extension .pps? Either you can ask for actual ppt file or convert pps to ppt file( works only ppt version below 2007) http://www.presentationhelper.co.uk/Forum/showthread.php?t=1695 Thanks, Vindys "Club Manager" wrote: > Why can't I open a Powerpoint Presentation when I can see a Preview? From: Club Manager on 12 May 2008 07:24 The plot thickens - I can open PP 97 files from the Viewer Application but if i attempt tp open a PPT file by double-click I get a message that the file has been blocked by my registry policy settings. So how do I change those settings? -- User "TAJ Simmons" wrote: > Club Manager > > The file may be corrupt - but still be able to show you the 'preview' image. > > see > Recovering a corrupt presentation > http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00108.htm > > > cheers > TAJ Simmons > Microsoft Powerpoint MVP > > http://www.awesomebackgrounds.com > awesome - powerpoint templates, > powerpoint backgrounds, free samples, ppt tutorials... > > > "Club Manager" <ClubManager(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:B2376564-38CD-4C67-81DE-AEBF75868266(a)microsoft.com... > > Why can't I open a Powerpoint Presentation when I can see a Preview?
