When we go to powerpoint options and select save and then select to save
files in the 2007 format then select ok as soon as we exit it reverts back to
saving in 2003. I say we because my entire office is having this problem.

My guess would be that your IT folk have used Group Policy to set this.

thanks I will get our IT folks to check with the base IT folks. The military
does some weird stuff sometimes

You might be saving as a 2003 file, the 2007 save feature is at the top of
the save drop down window.
