changing the default tab settings
when i open word 2007, there is a default centre & right tab set. If i do a bullett or numbered points and save as 2003 compatable, the alignmennt of the words goes in line with the centre tab. Its fine if i save as docx. I've gone into the tab settings and tried removing the tabs and changing them to left but ... 2 Jun 2008 12:40

2007 patch has messed up my top margin
the top margin is cut-off because it is just hiding white space between pages. go to the top of the page and get the double arrow thing. double click that to make it show the white space. What it is hiding is just the margins, so you are not typ9ing on your margin it just looks weird. ... 1 Jun 2008 23:08

Word 2007 Book Layout
I have 10 pages of 8.5x11 Portrait that I created. Very intense graphics, tables, charts, text, etc. I now want to create a booklet. I would like to lay it out on 11x17 Landscape. Hi, Doug. I tried that but it didn't help. In the end I opened a new blank document and copied all the text to it, to see if the problem was just with the original. In the new doument the alignment wroked correctly. I saved it and deleted the original. It must have been corrupted somehow. Thanks for your help. ... 31 May 2008 23:27

Printing a banner longer than 22"
Word seems to be set so that you can not have a continous printing document longer than 22". This is driving me nuts as I have a sheet I need to print that is 33" long. I have the continous paper, but it won't let me change the formatting. Any clues? ... 1 Jun 2008 10:36

Help> My "new document" is a former cut'n'pasted document.

Word 2007 is justifying all my text even though I have set Left-al
I need my text to be left-aligned (ragged right margin) but although the Alignment dropdown box on Paragraph> Indents and Spacing is set to Left when I type I'm getting my lines justified across the page.
