Multilevel lists become simple numbered lists in Word 2007 Whenever I try to create a multilevel list in word it automatically resets itself to a straight numbered list. I cannot find any option that would do this. Help please ... 16 Jul 2008 05:48
extra pages when opening documents one of my clients is having issues with opening documents. No matter what document they open, there are a lot of extra pages "like 20 pages for a 5 page document." They think they might have changed a view setting but they aren't sure which one and I have been unable to recreate the same thing on my computer.... 11 Jul 2008 18:12

I was in fact successful in 'fixing' level-3 numbering by using your "from scratch" method. DISAPPEARING HEADER AND FOOTER Word 2003/XP I have a Word doc that has copy on pg. 1 and 2. At the end of the copy on page 2, a Section break/Page Break has been inserted that creates a blank p. 3, which I want to get rid of. Pagination I have a merge document that brings in various numbers of items. As it merges whatever number in I need numbered items to remain together at the bottom/top of the pages so users do not have to make manual adjustments every time.
