Unlink the header/footer (wherever the page number is) in the last section from the previous section (that is, click the Same As Previous or Link to Previous button on the Header and Footer toolbar to turn it off), then delete the page number from that section. -- Suzanne S. From: Doug Robbins - Word MVP on 20 Jun 2008 17:48 Use the following field construction in the header footer in place of the { PAGE } field that you will see there when you use Alt+F9 to toggle on the display of field codes. { IF { PAGE } = { NUMPAGES } "" { PAGE } } You must use Ctrl+F9 to insert each pair of field delimiters { } - You cannot copy and paste the above.
