From: John Campbell on 14 May 2008 15:14 In PageSetup for Project 2003, one of the settings appears to permit a range of dates to print. But that does not work - the print function prints all tasks for all dates. Is there a work around (other than hidiing tasks for the dates to be excluded)? thanks.
From: Mike Glen on 14 May 2008 17:56 Hi John, Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :) If you select Print, the print dialog allows you to select dates - try that. FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :) Mike Glen MS Project MVP See http://tinyurl.com/2xbhc for Project Tutorials "John Campbell" <john.campbell(a)probation.lacounty.gov> wrote in message news:3B558BE2-6FAF-487F-9900-3100B05661B0(a)microsoft.com... > In PageSetup for Project 2003, one of the settings appears to permit a > range > of dates to print. From: John on 15 May 2008 00:00 Thank you. It is the option on the print dialog that I am referring to. It does not work - that is, it prints the entiire chart instead of just the dates in the range entered in the dialog box. From: Dytham on 15 May 2008 03:45 The date range that you are referring to merely sets the start and end limits of the timescale printed on the Gantt section of the chart. It does not exclude anything scheduled to occur outside that range. No workaround comes to mind other than the one you mention (which takes little more effort than entering dates in the Print dialogue anyway). In that case, John, I can only suggest you get the latest service pack for Project and update your printer driver.
