It's been a busy week for Palm.

Palm Desktop application and drivers for Windows Vista have been in
Beta for a while and are now final. It is available here:

Unlocked Treo 680s have a new firmware upgrade which can be downloaded
here:

An interesting note: "# Not compatible with dual- or multiple-CPU
computers Note: this is not the same as a dual- or multi-core processor,

I'd really like to see an explanation for that one.

At the moment, my Treo is my ONLY device which doesn't have full Vista
x64 support (okay, that's a lie, I can't start a scan job from the
scanner, I have to start the app first, then I can use the controls on
my scanner), and it's about to cost Palm a loyal customer since the late
90s.

Thanks for pointing that out. I see it adds support for mp3 ringtones -
obviously Palm were listening when I asked about them a few days ago in
this group :-)

SO, how's the firmware and desktop in XP for unlocked Treo 680 so far?

Oh and does this update come with the time zone fix? I don't see it in
the changelog.
