variable speed mp3 player for Palm?

Where's my sound? Oh, here it is. Whoops it's gone again.
I have a Zire 72. Every so often, for no apparent reason, there is no sound over the speaker, although headphones work fine. Even a hard reset doesn't fix it. Weird .pdb file to decrypt

I can't use applications like Blazer and WiFileLT because at work we use a standard Windows network; which of course requires a login.
