From: jane on 20 Sep 2005 12:55 I am creating a powerpoint presentation with music that will play automatically as a slideshow. I have a lot of editing to get the music and slides the way I want them. I always have to "end show" when I want to change something with the order of the slides or where to add the next song. I would just rather "pause" instead of having to start from the beginning and click "view show" to see if the slides and music coincide the way I want them to. It's very time consuming, having to listen to the songs over and over, just to see if they end and begin correctly from one song to the next. Is there a tip?? Is there a pause button anywhere? HELP PLEASE! Another question about the timing. I have my pictures set to change automatically after 6 seconds. Some of them, I want less or more, depending on the song that is playing and when it ends. Can I adjust the timing for individual slides and then go back to the 6 second intervals with the rest? There is an "apply" and an "apply all" but what if I only want to "apply" only a few? The "apply all" won't work and visa versa. Gosh, I hope that made sense!!! Thanks! I'm desperate here! This is taking way more time than I ever imagined! jane
From: Austin Myers on 20 Sep 2005 13:58 During editing open up the Animation task pane. In the bottom right corner is a "Play" button. This plays only the slide you are working on and you can interrupt it at any time by clicking the running slide. From: jane on 20 Sep 2005 14:49 Where is the animation task pane? I only see preset animation, custom animation and animation preview under the slideshow tab. I'm also not sure if I was clear. I want to review the show, sit back, have a cup of coffee and watch it go. When I see a slide during the actual playing that needs to be changed I would like to pause the show so the music and slides are paused, then continue and let the rest of the show finish. I did figure out how to change the slide transition timing for individual slides. Yay! Thanks again jane "Austin Myers" wrote: > During editing open up the Animation task pane.
