The first example is "AT-Everex", and the second is "DTK". Asus uses AT-Everex wiring for their serial headers. http://www.pccables.com/cgi-bin/orders6.cgi?action=Showitem&partno=07120 http://www.pccables.com/cgi-bin/orders6.cgi?action=Showitem&partno=07121 This one is an Everex as well. http://www.startech.com/item-specs/PLATE9MB-9-Pin-Male-Serial-Slot-Plate-Retail.aspx This is an example of a 2x13 ribbon cable (IDC) to DB25 printer port. Apparently there was a PLATE25F, which seems to be discontinued, and not the part number is PLATE25FB. http://www.startech.com/item/PLATE25FB-25-pin-Parallel-25pin-Header-Slot-Plat.aspx The Asus Estore used to carry a 26 pin IDC ribbon to DB25 ( 14-G000003901 ), but it looks like it was discontinued. $15 http://estore.asus.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=3740&catid=538 It was used on the M2N-SLI Deluxe. http://estore.asus.com/shop/category.asp?catid=538 If you download the M2N-SLI Deluxe manual, you can find an example of the 2x13 header pinout (how the motherboard end is wired). The pinout on the DB-25 end is shown here. http://www.bbdsoft.com/parallel.html For USB, you could try a place like frontx.com . The first item converts a 2x5 USB header, to two standard USB connectors. For USB2, there should be as little "loose wire" showing as possible. The wire is supposed to be shielded on the outside. http://www.frontx.com/cpx108_2.html More internal ports are shown here. http://www.frontx.com/order2.html Paul |
