Here`s an interesting one Graham

I recieved this email earlier,

"I have a Studiomaster mixer which is causing a few problems. It
appears that various mic channels do not work until the phantom power
switch is operated. However, when the mic cable is removed and
re-connected the channel does not work until the same procedure of
switching the phantom power on/off is performed. "

It's a Mixdown 16-4-8 apparently, He`s using dynamic mikes. one of yours?

What do you reckon? ribbon cables? insert sockets? decoupling caps on
the phantom?
