Can you change the default setting in Pivot Table? For Example if everytime I
do a pivot table I do not want it to give me subtotals can I default it that
way instead of always changing the setting.

You can't change the default settings for the data fields. If a field
contains blank cells, or cells with text, it will default to COUNT.
Otherwise, it will SUM.
