From: Owl on
I think it is for almost a year, that I haven't received email notifications
of replies to my questions on Microsoft Discussions, despite the fact that I
always click on Notify me of replies.

Once I saw the blue arrow and the blue text below and to the right of the
Close box (as one enters a reply) saying Email notifications (that must have
been about a couple of months ago) and I clicked on it. Now it says Advanced
Options and when I click on it, it only gives an option to fill in a full
USENET designation to Cross-post to "these" discussion groups.

It is very inconvenient not getting email notifications. I cannot find any
forum that seems the right one - and any "Contact Us" leads me to further
forums which don't include anything like this. Can somebody please help me.

Thanks for any help

I will try and answer your question - so will lots of other people I think.

Do you have a question about an access database ?

My question is: How do I get email notifications (about my Access questions)
back again?

Back again from where - the e mails were either sent to you or they wern't.
If they wern't then you can get them back as they don't exist.

If you have asked a question and someone answers you can always click your
name in the post (any post will do) and you can see all your recent posts.
eg. click this to see all you questions
http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?author=Owl&email=Owl%40discussions.microsoft.com&cid=98bbb306-1b34-4020-87e7-c4156b5af764&dg=microsoft.public.access&lang=en&cr=US

Or just go to this site and search on your username
http://groups.google.com/advanced_search?q=&

In the Groups box on that site put in this
microsoft.public.access

That feature has been disabled, probably because it was
being abused.

It may come back again one day, after the USENET
groups have been closed, or it may not.
