From: stipilot on 4 Apr 2008 13:15 I'd like to implement a pop-up menu using transparent backgrounds but I'm not sure how to implememt it. I know how create and export styles to the Nav Menu styles and that seems to be working but the ones I add are difficult to identify in the Styles thumbnail list and they seem to be applied as a texture to the generated pop-up button images anyway. Any suggestions on how best to implement this? CSS or image buttons are fine, but I'd like to expliot the Fireworks pop-up menu editor as much as possible.

Honestly, you'd be much better off doing this with something besides FW. -- Murray --- ICQ 71997575 Adobe Community Expert (If you *MUST* email me, don't LAUGH when you do so!) ================== http://www.projectseven.com/go - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.dwfaq.com - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources ================== "stipilot" <webforumsuser(a)macromedia.com> wrote in message news:ft5nnh$inp$1(a)forums.macromedia.com... > I'd like to implement a pop-up menu using transparent backgrounds but I'm > not > sure how to implememt it. What do you recomend? Fireworks menus integrate relatively easily to Dreamweaver templates which is why I'm using it.
From: Murray *ACE* on 4 Apr 2008 16:31 Even CS3's popup menus are not optimal, in my opinion. I usually do them this way - Check the uberlink and MacFly tutorials at PVII - http://www.projectseven.com/ and the Navbar tutorial/articles at Thierry's place http://tjkdesign.com/articles/dropdown/ Or this one (more recent article): http://tjkdesign.com/articles/Pure_CSS_Dropdown_Menus.asp Or to get it done fast, go here - http://www.projectseven.com/tutorials/navigation/auto_hide/index.htm -- Murray --- ICQ 71997575 Adobe Community Expert (If you *MUST* email me, don't LAUGH when you do so!) ================== http://www.projectseven.com/go - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.dwfaq.com - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources ================== "stipilot" <webforumsuser(a)macromedia.com> wrote in message news:ft5t8v$opm$1(a)forums.macromedia.com... > [q]Originally posted by: Newsgroup User > Which FW?
