Just downloaded Probe II for my Asus A7V333 mobo and it will not install.
The OS is XP Home SP2. It says that failed to initial AsInsHelp DLL. What
should I do from here. Thanks in advance.

Have either of you got other monitoring s/w installed, such
as motherboard monitor, speedfan etc? If so, then you can
only have one AFAIK due to limitations of the SMBUS.
Or it could just be that ProbeII is even cr*pper than the
original, which never quite worked properly on my hardware
(same as yours, EdG).

I do have Motherboard Monitor installed, but I have it set to not run. I do
already have the old Asus probe installed, so would this cause a problem?

I'm pretty sure that's the problem. Try uninstalling MM, rebooting
then installing ProbeII. If you can find the correct MM settings for your
particular mobo though, I'd recommend you stick with that as it
can do other really useful stuff like monitor the temperature of many
makes of hard drive - heat is easily the biggest killer of HDs IME.
