From: kazabeDELETE on 3 Jul 2007 18:48 Hi. Im having a little problem at last 2 weeks ago. When i send a mail without attachments, the mail is deliveried very quikly. just in a few seconds is in the recipient; but when the email contain any attachment, with 1 or 2 MB (im using a local network), the mail is very very slow. Can be received 3 or 5 (some times 13) hours later. Outlook apparently send it the message very fast, but the mailserver dont show the send process. When i see the headers of some message, apparently was stopped by outlook. From: ivakras1 on 4 Jul 2007 00:43 It may be your filter problem, like antivirus or spamassassin. What is output of `mailq` during this delay? Check logs of your filters and see the times mail comes to each filter, so, for example, if you sent mail at 01:00:00 and it comes to first filter at 01:00:02 and comes to second filter at 04:00:00 and then delivered to 'rcpt to' - the problem in the first filter... I shutdown the mailfilter (amavis), and resend some messages running only postfix, but the delay continue. if i send the messages with the webmail (roundcube) or thunderbird, the message is deliveried very fast; but if i use OE6 or MS Outlook 2003, the delay persist. But the clients use thats MUA's 2 or 3 years ago! and the problem only was at last 3 weeks. So i dont know where is the problem; MUA or MTA. Some body has been report any problem with Outlook with the latest postfix releases? Thanks
