From: Martin Schiff on 9 Apr 2008 09:26 Poly, I'm still running Sonar (5) on the same AMD 1000 machine that I've had for about 5 years now. Had a recording session last night, and it worked great. I am planning on upgrading to a quadcore RSN though so I can get lower latency. -- Martin "polymod" <polymod(a)optonline.net> wrote in message news:47fbf0ae$0$15170$607ed4bc(a)cv.net... > > "Organfreak" <plonk(a)plinkety.plunk> wrote in message > news:rulnv397d1upmdm325mg7rmqmj34httvdb(a)4ax.com... >> "polymod" <polymod(a)optonline.net> blatted: >> > >> >"Organfreak" <plonk(a)plinkety.plunk> wrote in message >> >news:q52nv3duu51taep5pmgjj01im9qmjhtttm(a)4ax.com... >> >> "Kevin K" <Strascak(a)roadrunner.com> blatted: >> >> >I had an extra AMD Athlon 4200+ dual core and intalled it in my >> >> >backup >> >> >system which previously had an AMD Athlon 3500+ single core. Even my tech is amazed at the speed of this thing. As far as getting the music out of it: The computer don't really matter. I'd still be getting music out of something whether it be a reel to reel or a portastudio :) Poly

Had a recording session last night, and it worked great. And that's the way it's suppose to be. It works. Plain and simple. Poly |
