From: ashuat on 7 Apr 2008 12:39 Hi, I have just installed the latest version of SAPPHIRE RADEON X1950XT driver (Catalyst) but now I have problem. The latest version is v.8.3 . Now I see the maximum monitor definition is 1920x1200. Before installing it was 2560x1600. I have a Samsung 24" Full HD monitor. I have installed the same driver in two different computers but the same PC with the same monitor and the other monitor I see correcty 2560x1600. How could I solve this problem? thanks

Although I must admit the statement "I have installed the same driver in two different computers but the same PC with the same monitor and the other monitor I see correcty 2560x1600" is very unclear to me. You have two identical systems with identical monitors and the issue only showed up on one when you went to the 8.3's?

I have installed 8-3_xp32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_59746 and I have not seen the possibility to install the monitor *.inf files. If you get it from MFG, right click on the file and hit Install. Or you can do it in Device Manager. Installs like a driver even though it just information.

Installs like a driver even though it just information. I cannot update Windows because that OS has not a Internat conexion.
