From: Wes Klang on 31 Jan 2007 22:06 First: I'm not a technical guru. System: AMD 2500 q GB mem Windows XP: Initial install of this card several months ago was successful, but somewhere along the way I selected the option to download program schedule information. All was working well, but I felt computer startup was slow and suspected it had to do with the download of program schedule information. I uninstalled the Catalyst software which came with this card, uninstalling the drivers for the card in Control Panel -> System ->Hardware ->Device Manager. I reinstalled the Catalyst software and on reboot, Windows found the "New Hardware (the ATI Card) and installed the drivers/software for it. I now run the Catalyst Media Center Setup Wizard and it "hangs". Has anyone in this group had this problem and - if so - how did you solve it? Thanks, Wes

I now run the Catalyst Media Center Setup Wizard and it "hangs" on detectiing system hardware configuration. Detailed information at ati.com/ install. Hopefully they've added info on CMC. I'm not using it.
