I recently tried rearranging my plug-ins (creating folders, moving
plug-ins around, etc.), and after doing so, discovered that the
program would crash as soon as I selected "Process/Audio FX in the
main menu bar. Opening the suspect configuration file (name.pgl) with
an XML editor, I systematically removed folders until the program
would function once again, but examining the suspect entries
(folders), I could discover no obvious difference between the
problematical ones and others. Anyone else experienced this problem?
Any solutions?

Thanks

The only time something like that happens to me is if I have an incorrectly
installed VST/DXi, or else one that is not compatible with Sonar.

Excellent call, George -- thanks!

I went back and was a bit more circumspect about which plug-ins I
included, and that solved the problem.
