From: Charles Bishop on 4 Apr 2006 23:38 Mac G4, 9.1, Appleworks 6 When I'm using Appleworks, typing, often there is a delay from my typing to showing up on the screen, sometimes annoyingly so. Someone suggested this is the autosave acting up. But I shut off the autosave and it didn't make any difference. If I type a short string and then wait, they characters show up, If I type a long string, then sometimes characters are left out. I don't have any other word processing programs except for AW, but the same thing doesn't happen when using email or posting. -- charles

This makes me curious though - Why were the items in this particular folder? I assume that it's ok to trash them, but if so, why are they there in the first place? The oldest was from 2004 which is when I fired up this computer, I think. > >I have ZERO problems running Appleworks on my 9.2 G4 system. I get worried that something will go "sproing" if I fool with it and it's fine for what I use it for. I think it was 2004 when I changed over from the IIci, so I'm not exactly on the leading edge of the curve. Thanks again for the help. charles
