From: michaelwl on 16 May 2008 02:43 Hi, I have Project 2007 professional installed, and everything else is MS Office Professional 2003. Inside of MSProject 2007 I cannot find the option to SaveAs MS-Access like I used to do with MSProject 2003. Am I missing something? From: JulieS on 16 May 2008 12:43 Hello Michael, No, you're not missing anything. The ability to save an entire MS Project file as an Access file is not available in MS Project 2007. You can save the data from visual reports (OLAP cube data) in Access through Reports > Visual Reports, select a report and Edi the Template. I believe there is a "Save data" button. (I may be slightly off on directions-- I don't have Prj 2007 available right now) I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along. That function has been removed in Project 2007. If you need project information in a database, you can use project server and query the reporting database. -- Jack Dahlgren Project Blog: http://zo-d.com/blog Macros: http://masamiki.com/project/macros.htm "michaelwl" <michaelwl.39hs3d(a)DoNotSpam.com> wrote in message news:michaelwl.39hs3d(a)DoNotSpam.com... > > Hi, > > I have Project 2007 professional installed, and everything else is MS > Office Professional 2003. > > Inside of MSProject 2007 I cannot find the option to SaveAs MS-Access > like I used to do with MSProject 2003. > > Am I missing something? > Michael > > > -- > michaelwl > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > michaelwl's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=49471 > View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=969204 > > http://forums.techarena.in > |
