I have a user that's experiencing problems with the Propose new time function
in Outlook 2003. When she uses the Outlook client, go to Calendars,
right-click the appointment and select Propose time, the window pops up just
fine allowing her to select a new time. However, as soon as she click the
Propose Time button, Outlook crashes and gave this error message: Microsoft
Office Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for
the inconvenience.

I've had no problem with mine. We downloaded the program off of the same
network server. She'd already tried running Detect and Repair, but the
program still crashes. I've also uninstalled Outlook and reinstalled it for
her but it didn't work. Any ideas?

I've also asked the user to open Outlook in safe mode and try the propose new
time function again and it still didn't work. Please help me. I'm not sure
what's causing it.

I have this same issue for two of my users. We have not been able to resolve
the issue so far. Here is a list of troubleshooting done.

- Remove any Outlook Addons (Adobe, Winzip, etc)
- Remove Wizip and Adobe Professional 8.0
- Repair Office 2003
- Remove and Re-install Office 2003
- Log in as different user (issue appears on all users that log into that
computer)
- Force Outlook to recreate the OST File
- Remove any attached PST files
- Remove any registry entires to Office 2003 and Folders after uninstall.

Nothing we have done is able to resolve this issue. I fear that we are
going to have to reload the users machine soon. :(

Anyone know how to resolve this?
