From: Technovators on 14 Nov 2007 14:04 I have been working on this educational piece for some time that involves one main file and several other smaller files linked by the JumpFileREturn function. Today I attempted to package the piece using the one-button publish feature and for some reason, the packed piece is not including the smaller files. When I run the packaged piece, it keeps asking: Where are those files? Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?"
From: Mike Baker **Adobe Community Expert** on 14 Nov 2007 14:59 When you use JumpFileReturn (JFR) you are jumping to another Authorware file. This would be packaged separately because, well, it's another Authorware file. Once it is packaged then you could include them in the "Files" tab of the "File / Publish / Publish Settings" for the main file. That way they would be included for you in the 'Published files' folder. Add the 'packaged' versions of the smaller JFR files only not the source. Is this EXE to A7R type JFR or is it web packaged? If it's web packaged then you'd need all the .aam and .aas files and then it's more trouble than it's worth. In that case I'd just package and publish each separately. From: Technovators on 14 Nov 2007 19:46 Thanks for the help. Earlier, while attempting to publish, I kept getting an error message that said that the file smtp.u32 was missing. Which file is this, what is it used for, and where can it be found?

smtp.u32 is for sending email. There's a Send E Mail KO that uses it. You should be able to find it in the Program Files/Macromedia/Authorware 7 folder. That's one that OBP should be able to find. If it's not in the Authorware installation folder, then check the CD Mike ==================== Mike Baker Adobe Community Expert mike-baker(a)cox.net > Thanks for the help.
