From: JY on 30 Mar 2008 13:49 I'm learning how to use Symphonic Orchestra (Gold) by EastWest, which uses a SOG-specific version of Kompakt. I was wondering if it was possible, with this thing, to stretch the length of a sound. There's a percussive hit that's almost perfect for my purposes, if only I could stretch it to 120% or so. I know I can dump it to audio and use stretching tools to do it, but I first wanted to know if there was a way to do it within Kompakt, while the notes are still MIDI. Thanks.

I know, playback is what I was referring to -- wondering if it could stretch the sample in real-time (during playback) since it seems it can do a bunch of other things to it (affect its attack, release, etc.). I didn't mean destructively affect the original sample (like soundforge or audition). But your "no" answer is pretty clear one way or another. Thanks. ;-)

Kompkt is pretty primative as far as any editing features. Poly
