There should be a very old (5.1, I think) connection manager attached.  We used this to talk with an iSeries device.  The response parser is missing, as it is proprietary, but this shouldat least let you get started.  There was a mode that had to be set in the iSeries device tooutput to a display device; this .vi assumes that it is the display device.Hope this gets you started in the proper direction.Matt

Thanks.  I will give it a try.  I will have to convert it from an earlier labview version, so I can use it in the Labview 8.  I will give a try.  Again, thanks.
