When trying to read a 4gb HDSC card I get a I/O error. I am able to read
normal SD cards up to 2gb with no problem. The $gb SDHC card I'm using is OK
since it works in my eeePC without a problem. Have tried formatting both
FAT32 and NTFS.
I d/l and installed Hotfix K923293 from MS, but it didn't solve problem.
Any comments or suggestions???

Running WIN XP Pro. Built in TEAC Card Reader furnished with the XPS 400

The card reader that comes on a 410 isn't compatible with HDSC cards.
The card reader that comes on a 420 is.

When I bought my 4-gig HDSC, it actually included a simple HDSC only USB
reader with it.

Thanks. I thought there might be some kind of driver update to make it work.
So I just ordered a USB to SDHC reader that should do the trick. I started
using 4g SDHC cards in my eeePC and needed a way to load them from my Dell
so this should do the job
