From: Murf on 9 Sep 2005 10:17 OK, all I want to do is have all the mp3's in my "itunes library" folder, tick or untick all the files I want .. and then click "update ipod" so it makes the ipod just contain the "ticked" mp3s... can you do this?

Yes, that's how I've been doing it for a couple of years. Just open iPod options (with iPod plugged in) and select 'update only checked songs'. I have a couple of scripts (from Martin on this group) that will also pull all of your checked/unchecked songs into playlists, if you want I'll post them here when I'm on the iBook (Martin's posts don't get archived). -zs-

I have another question. I have a couple of internet radio stations in my library and I would like to move them out of there and into, well somewhere else, anywhere but the general library. The Radio library doesn't seem to allow anything to be dragged into it. I can create a library and drag them in but they still remain in the general library and I want them out of there. Any ideas anyone? -- to email me please go here http://www.dream-weaver.com/email.html iChat AV datasmog7

I created a folder/playlist called '~MY RADIO~' and stuck them in there. > I can create a library and drag them in but they still remain in the > general library and I want them out of there. I don't think you can do that, I think the library has a copy of everything you've imported. but i stand to be corrected. -- bellajonez at yahoo dot co dot uk |
