I want to record conference calls on my AT&T Tilt smartphone. The audio
recording software that I've tried only works with the speakerphone, and the
quality is poor It's a hardware issue with this phone. I've asked the software
providers for guidance, and they say there's not way to record calls other
than through the speakerphone.

I just got a connector for the Tilt. I now have a female jack for plugging in
external headphones. I've found that I can place a call, plug in the connector,
and I can hear the call in the headphones. then I route that cable to the input
jack on a digital recorder. It records the call directly through the phone.
However, the volume is very loud--distorting the sound...even if I turn the
phone sound all the way down. Is there a way to control the sound going into
the headphones, so I can a clear recording?

Thanks!
Scott

Vito Audionotes is 3rd party application that could record your phone call.
