I no longer program, but I have several old ResEdit files from the 80s
& 90s that I'd like to recover PICTs, ICONs, SNDs, and TEXTs from.

What tools could I use to do this under Leopard? Also, I use a G5;
will there be any problems with the above formats on an Intel machine
(which my kids have)?

Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, that's a Classic application, which means it won't
be useful with Leopard (even on a PowerPC). Their "using OS X?" link is
broken.

Melodious, it looks like ResFool should do the job-- see
<http://www.ljug.com/sw/resfool.html>. I haven't tried it though.

Wouldn't FileJuicer excel at this kind of thing?:

Perhaps. They don't seem to mention resource forks on their web site,
but an app like that might get them anyway.

Thanks for all the help. ResFool seems to satisfy my needs. FileJuicer
only handles PICT and TEXT, but sure handles them easily!
