I hope someone might know the answer. I sometimes get an email that should have
a picture, but I only get a box with a red x in top left corner.
I have Macromedia Flashplayer and also Shockwave.
Is there something else I am missing of?
any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

doesnt sound like that has anything to do with flash - a red X where a static image should be as an
attachment to an email is not related to flash at all. sorry if i missed something.

You are of course quite right. I was just wondering if anyone had the answer, or had come aross this problem.
But thanks for the reply.

could be any number of things - from a corruption on their end - or your email client's security
settings having images disabled - or even attachments blocked - hard to tell - you dont mention how
you check email - could be through a browser based email control panel - could be local client - if
local it could be any form and any number of security settings either in the email client or in any
of the many anitivirus programs you may or may not be using - too general a question and not enough
detials to troubleshoot the cause.
