Corrupted /etc/fstab
I have (had) Fedora Core 6 running with no problems. While adding a USB HD I corrupted /etc/fstab. Now, when I boot I get dropped to a shell so I can "repair the filesystem". However, I can't edit fstab to delete the corrupted line as the shell reports the filesystem to be read-only. Can anybody tell me how... 17 May 2007 19:05

I'm putting together a LAMP server and noted that the MySQL.com site has a bunch of RPM downloads of mySQL - for all different operating systems. from dual boot to single boot
Hello, I have Redhat 9.0 installled along with XP in the same hard dsk.I want to use different hard disks for both the operating systems.The boot loader is linux boot loader(grub).Is there any way to by-pass this boot loader and start XP and Linux independently.
