From: Tiscali Tim on 16 Sep 2005 16:50 Just bought a PAYG SIM which I want to use in an existing Orange-enabled phone. In the blurb, it gives a choice of ringing an 0800 number or doing it on-line at www.orange.co.uk/payasyougo/registration/ I would prefer to do it on-line - but this link doesn't seem to work - and I can't find an alternative link on the Orange website. Anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution? I'm sure I've done one on-line in the past. -- Cheers, Tim ______ Please reply to newsgroup. Reply address is invalid.

I can't find the link now but I'm sure that a couple of days ago I found a page on the site that said you were no longer able to register online and now had to phone that 0800 number. Can't for the life of me find it again though! Alan

Sorry You can no longer register your pay as you go phone online. Instead, please call us to register on 0800 079 0006.

Thanks. At least that's definitive rather than just a broken link. Any idea why they've done that - anti-terrorist measure, or something? -- Cheers, Tim ______ Please reply to newsgroup. Ring the 0800 number, you'll be finished and running before you get a quarter of the way there on the site..! Ivor
