Hello,

We have to create a custom report for SCOM where we can see a list of
monitors for which we have diagnostics defined. We checked vMonitor and
vDiagnostic views, also check vMonitorManagementPackVersion and
vDiagnosticManagementPackVersion and vManagementPack for buiding the report
model.

When designing the report in report builder I can't find any fiel that shows
the name of monitors or diagnostic tasks we created.
None of the fields that could give me such information like:
Monitor Guid
Monitor System Name
Monitor Default Name
Monitor Default Description
show the monitor name. Instead of this they show an identifier number that
consists in an alfphanumeric chain which is unuseful for us.

It doesn't happen with monitors or tasks non manually created. I mean, it
does't happen with monitors or tasks predefined by SCOM. In this case, fields
that I mentioned above such as Monitor Default Name does show a more
descriptive name.

Do we need to choose any other table or view to build the report model? Do
we need to choose any other field in report builder?

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards,
Jorge Quesada
