Hi - Is there anybody running 8.2.1 out their who could spare the time to convert the attached 8.2.1. Vvi's to 8.0. These are from the NI website for the PXI chassis but seem to contain just what I need as a beginner in Labview (seral driver, meter displays etc)

You haven't attached anything to convert. A .proj file does not contain any VIs. the VIs could be in a zip file, an lvlib, and llb. Provide these or the link where you found them.

Dennis - thanks for taking an interest. There are five vi's and sub-vi's in attached zip file as downloaded from NI. FYI - I am an enthusiastic amateur who is trying to get across Labview for a home automation / security  panel I have built. Works fine in VB  but I'm trying to make it look nice with panels and charting. Working here in Riyadh, I have plenty of time to mess around.  - regards Richard
