I wish this was a year and a half ago. We had MX running on a lab of
school machines and I don't remember specifically what we did. The only
other thing that comes to mind is copying the administrators profile to
the 'Default User's' profile.

Yes that would make sense, as the error message states that the resource files
are missing or damaged. I would have a slight problem with just putting the
admin profile into the default profile as users only pick up the default
profile the first time they log on to the network, after that they download
their personal profile from the server. I guess I could delete their profiles,
but that would also lose all sorts of personalisations and the like.
