From: Levin, Michael on 1 Nov 2005 06:31 Does anyone know where I can get an SFTP (secure FTP over SSH) client for PocketPC? Mike
From: Sooner Al [MVP] on 1 Nov 2005 07:12 PockeTTY apparently does XModem transfers via a SSH tunnel...Beyond that there may be commercial SSH clients that include SCP/SFTP support but I can't point you to any. Perhaps someone else can... http://dejavusoftware.com/pocketty/ -- Al Jarvi (MS-MVP Windows Networking) Please post *ALL* questions and replies to the news group for the mutual benefit of all of us... I've never used Xmodem before: what do I need on the other end to use this? Thanks! Mike
From: Sooner Al [MVP] on 1 Nov 2005 17:20 XModem is an old serial file transfer protocol. I just know that the PockeTTY page mentions you can use XModem to transfer files presumably through the SSH tunnel. I have never tried that however. I do know port forwarding works and I can run Terminal Services Client through the SSH tunnel and access/control an XP Pro box... As always, YMMV... -- Al Jarvi (MS-MVP Windows Networking) Please post *ALL* questions and replies to the news group for the mutual benefit of all of us...
